Credit: DisclosureThe Guarani Indian Araju Sepeti, after stopping for more than one time the vote of Justice Luis Fux,was expelled on the afternoon of Thursday's plenary session of the Supreme Court. Today is the secondday of trial on the reservation policy of racial quotasin universities.
While Fux Minister praised the policy of quotas for blacks, Sepeti, who was sitting in the audiencestarted to scream, asking that the Indians were alsomentioned in the speeches of the ministers.
He was warned by the Chief Justice, Minister AyresBritto, but continued to speak up and stop talking about Fux. Britto then ordered the guards to withdraw Sepeti, who was accompanied by his wife and two daughters, one a baby.
Sepetii resisted and was dragged out of court,screaming that his arm was being hurt. His daughter and his wife also shouted and called the security guards "racist" and "horses". "It's likedealing with the Indians in Brazil," said Sepeti.
"Democracy has its moments that exceed the dose," the minister said after the expulsion of FuxSepeti. (UOL)
